Hi! I’m Ann Li, a passionate Chemistry educator with over 9 years of experience helping students achieve their academic goals. I hold a Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry and a Master’s degree in Medicinal Chemistry from Universiti Tunku Abdul Rahman.My research centres around finding the chemical responsible for the antibacterial properties of various bacterias including antibiotic resistant bacteria.My Research

I have also attended Cambridge International Chemistry training, where I learned how to tailor lessons to meet the needs of the syllabus and effectively mark and assess student papers.This training allows me to prepare students strategically and give them feedback that helps them improve with confidence.Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of teaching in an international school setting and guiding more than 600+ students through their Chemistry journey. I’m proud to share that over 80% of them achieved A and A* in their exams, a testament to my belief that with the right guidance, every student can succeed.

My teaching philosophy centers on making Chemistry both engaging and accessible. I incorporate interactive and practical learning approaches, including laboratory experiments, multimedia presentations, and thought-provoking discussions, to deepen students' understanding and enhance their critical thinking skills.With a strong command of the IGCSE Chemistry syllabus, I tailor my lessons to accommodate diverse learning styles, ensuring that each student receives the individualized support they need to succeed. I foster a supportive and inquiry-driven classroom environment, encouraging students to ask questions, explore scientific principles, and develop a genuine love for Chemistry.
